Better

While I am still disheartened about having to stay 3 extra weeks, I am feeling a bit chipper today. Probably because I get to go home! With that being said, I thought I'd actually do a proper entry today. First things first...

I got world from Radio Arte that the show is finally confirmed for Fangoria on Saturday, October 15! They are playing at the Metro and the opening act will be Sara Valenzuela (no relation to me); some of you may know her as the former lead singer of La Dosis. Her solo album has just been released in the US so I will be checking it out before the show as La Dosis were one of my fave acts. Anyhoo tickets are $41 (I know pricey) but trust me Fangoria are soooooo worth it. It's very rare they do a US date. I can't wait to see them again!!!!

So the other day at the airpot I decided to buy a book so I can read it on the plane. Magazines don't do because I usually read those w/in 5 minutes of purchasing them. I picked up the trashiest one I could find (sans the romance novels). It's from Candace Bushnell (Sex & The City, etc.) and is entitled Trading Up. So far so good. Anyone have any other good recommendations??

Remember him?

Did I have a crush on him! The him in question is Steve Guttenberg. The other morning when I was getting ready for work there was some awful Olsen Twin movie on and he played their dad. Yummy! Apparently he has a blog. Not sure if it's real or a phony one. I read a bit and all he seems to do is complain about not getting any shows on the PAX network. Eeew would anyone really want to be on PAX?

Since the corporate condos have cable I've been getting my fill while here. Again in the morning on tbs they are showing this:

While not as zaney as it's predecesor, it's still just as addictive. Come on they were in college and A.C. Slater was still on the wrestling team! This morning's episode alone had Mario López in a wrestling outfit at least 3 scenes!

This weekend is our anniversary weekend. Two years of bliss, love, and utter happiness. Don't think we're perfect now. Sure we get on one another's nerves from time to time, but it's so worth it whenever I look into Rob's eyes. Sigh. Have a good one everyone!

Grrr....Mario Lopez in a wrestling outfit. I think I need to ask Santa Claus this Christmas for Saved By The Bell DVD's, lol.
I'm glad you are finding things to do. As for trashy novels I read on in spanish called "Los Cien Golpes". It's all about this slutty teenage girl and her diary. The things she does makes me feel like a virgin!

Your going feel the need to go to confession after reading "Los Cien Golpes", lol

If you like "Trading Up" read "Four Blondes" still Candace Bushnell. It's kind of a quick read but has some of the same people in it. I initially bought it for your same reason: A book on an airplane.
