Nancy Drew
As a child in my pre-teen years I used to be obsessed w/ the Nancy Drew character. In particular The Nancy Drew Files line of books, such as this one:

I loved the Nancy Drew Files - I remember, she worked at a magazine and then at a tennis tournament with her friends, Lezzie George and Fat Bess!
