blame it on the rain

I am trying to do my best and write more than once a week! This week has been a bit calmer workwise. Earlier this week we took some of our MI coworkers to Café Ibérico. Of course we had fun. I can sangría til the cows come home as they say. Last night we took advantage that Rob had free passes to go see Domino starring Kira Knightley.

Normally I don't care at all for these type of action flicks, but there is something cool about seeing a bad-ass chick on the big screen. It was good, very entertaining and I loved the photography, the colors were so rich and saturated. Though we almost didn't make it because it was pouring out and Tracy and I hauled ass looking for a cab. After a half an hour, we gave up and took the Red line. We made it (barely) and enjoyed a nice dinner afterward. Oh how I'll miss thee Tracy. Hey that rhymes! Eat your hearts out J.J. Fad!

Not much else is going on. I am excited however for this Saturday as my Milwaukee Sister and I are going shopping to IKEA! Sista M is letting me help decorate his new apartment! I can't wait. As I've mentioned time and time again my inner interior decorator is always ready and willing.

I have been a CD whore since I got back to Chicago and have ordered countless CDs used online, etc. I am on a huge Shakespear's Sister kick of late. Don't know why. I did find 2 of their CDs @ Flipside in MI and last night bought another import @ the Virgin Megastore. Plus I think it has to do w/ the fact that Sibhan Fahey was and is my favorite Bananarama member (she's pictured on the right) :)

I must get back to work. Ta-ta everyone!

I can't get no sleep

No I have not been dead. I have just been beyond busy at work. Since getting back to Chicago, I've had a huge project and a short deadline. Needless to say my first week back was a 70 hour work week! Yikes! Don't ask me how I did it. The hard part is over. Thank God. I feel so bad having neglected my blog for such a long time. Moving our new account from MI has been a huge transition, in fact it still is, so once we get into the groove of things, hopefully things will go over much smoother. I'm hoping I can actually sneak some blog time in as well. All I've been able to do thus far is update my music selections.

So now that my work excursion to Troy, MI is over....what can I say about my 7 week stint? I don't think I could ever live in MI even if you paid me to. No offense, but it made me realize how much I love Chicago. While I could go on and an about what I disliked, I thought I'd rather make a top 5 of what I did like. Drumroll please:

5. Trent, yes that Trent. It was our very own mini SayHey meet. Trent is such a sweetheart and I am so mad we didn't get to hang out sooner or on more occasions, but being that it was my last night in town, he made quite the effort to show me a good time. We had a blast sipping martinis and eating pizza @ The Living Room. Such a sweetheart! I promise you'll get your Dannii Minogue drunken medley phone call!

4. Bahama Breeze/Flipside, cheesy chain restaurant but the drinks! The drinks! So good! Yummy. I can taste the Pia Colada as I type this :) Big shout out to my peeps @ Flipside in Clawson (did someone say Hand Job?)! The best used cd store I've found in a long time. Check out their $4 clearance bin if you can. How did I buy 11 cds in one trip? Hello they had La Toya!

3. Big Beaver Road, yes there is a road in Troy called Big Beaver. And what's even funnier is it is on EXIT 69! I am not making this stuff up people! The perves that came up w/ the street names in Troy should get some kind of medal. Actually in MI overall. Klymax anyone?

2. My coworkers, for keeping me sane. For keeping one another sane. I have to say if I had to be stuck in Troy, MI for 7 weeks I couldn't have asked for a crazier group of people to be stuck with. Mr. Lover, Bananas, Thunderbird Lanes, etc. Good times.

1. Tracy, last but not least my fellow NKOTB whore and all around late 80s/early 90s whore! Can you move to Chicago already? Now that I know you actually read my babble, I must tell you one thing...You're my popsicle from the very first time I met you girl you captured me. Tracy rocks because she knows all the words to Pebbles's ALWAYS album. Let's sing it together...Alwaaaaays.

So as you can see MI wasn't all that bad. But what's ever better is that I am finally home! For good! If I don't have to see an airport for another year I will be happy! Unless it's the international terminal to Spain or Mexico.

Before I forget...in case some of you didn't know this already, one of Rob's broads will be gracing Chicago w/ her presence...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Amanda Miguel will be @ the House of Blues on Friday, Nov. 4! I can guess a few people that might go (ahem...Twin Blogger???). Be prepared for Argentina's loudest bitch and Chicago's loudest fan (aka Rob). Can't wait! 2 broads in one month. First Fangoria @ the Metro and now this! Good times.

So I have been dying to share this w/ you all. But out of the blue I get an email message from my long lost child hood best friend Carlos! Holy shit! I could not believe it! We have not spoken in about 8 years but somehow he tracked me down. Boy am I glad he did. He gave me his number and we relived our childhood via a 3 hour phone conversation. It was so much fun! We are going to get together next time I am in Milwaukee. I came across this picture and had to share it w/ you. I am 12 and he is 10 (can we be any gayer???) and we were on our way to Great America. Check out my Madonna circa LIKE A PRAYER t-shirt! I told you I've always liked her as a brunette. LOL.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I swear us along w/ my Milwaukee Sister must have been the founding members of the FFA (Future Fags of America)! LOL! I don't want to bore you w/ more gushy details, but I am just floored to have come into contact w/ Carlos again. Now let's not lose contact for another 8 years!

It's getting late and I have to get going to bed. Another lovely week of work. Hopefully it won't be too crazy. Hope everyone's well. I've missed reading your blogs, though I tried my best to keep up while away. In the words of Dannii Minogue: LOVE + KISSES! (BTW check out her new single it's fierce!)

Yes I'm alive...

I've been BEYOND BUSY @ work and really have had no time for anything...blogging, email, social life, etc. I apologize for not updating. I will attempt to do a proper update this weekend. Hope you're all well.

Happy Independence day to MÉXICO today :)

6 down

I have been beyond busy working on this new account, I have not had time to update my blog. Sorry! I have one more week (and it's short at that) after this week. MI is getting to me. I'm trying not to be too cranky, but I can only be so nice for so much longer. I think I need some drinks! Sangria tonight? Hmmm...

Can we talk about how much I love this woman?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

She is just fucking hilarious! But after asking a few coworkers (mostly straight females), the majority seemed to not liker her. Is it only a gay thing? I don't know but I think she's fuckin' funny. I just love how she rips on everyone and is so blunt about it. Her obsession w/ Clay Gaykin is to die for (though we call him Gay Aikin...you just know he's a big 'ol homo); and she hates Renee Zellweger too! May I quote her? She said that Renee looks like a puffy sweaty coke whore! Yes! I've become addicted to her show on Bravo. I must see her next time she's in Chicago (her home town fyi).

So while here in Troy, I've met some lovely people who work here. One in particular needs to come to Chicago already (alas she isn't...T-dog I expect a visit soon). She (aka Tracy), like me, loves trashy 80s/early 90s music (she must be a gay man trapped inside a woman's body). Anyhoo her friend, whom I will meet soon asked her to ask me if I used to like Guys Next Door....HELLO! I loved them! They were a knock-off New Kids but we don't care. They were awful! Just look @ them:

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Would you believe I found a fansite? Click here to get your GND fill.

So I started watching Footballers Wive$. I've only seen four episodes, but already I am in lust:

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

His name is Cristian Solimeno and Jesus is he sexy! Holy balls! Grrr! He's super beefaroni. I can't wait to see more of him. Let me have a moment to myself. I think it's the big schnoze, cockiness, etc. that just gets me all moist in the panties.

Anyoo I apologize for the lack of updates, but I have one week left like I said. Hopefully I can resume normal blogging once I am back in Chicago. BTW Fangoria tickets go on sale this Saturday!!! 'Til we meet again. Take care everyone :)

Just another day

Hello again. Well after an extended weekend home, I am back in Troy. Man was I exhausted yesterday! I had to be up by 4:30am to get to the airport on time for a 7:30am flight. I came back to the apartment last night and crashed! But I did sneak in an episode of Rebelde. Our anniversary weekend was lovely. We ended up having dinner at Café Bolero, and just spending time together. It was so nice. Back to reality...I'm here...again.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

FYI...just found out the Fangoria show was moved to SUNDAY OCT 16 and not Sat. the 15th as previously announced. I was told the ticekts go on sale September 3! Woo hoo! So who's coming?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Today is Belinda Carlisle's birthday! Let us celebrate! I will listen to my Babe-mix on my ipod :)

Have you seen this man? Holy balls is he hot???

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Rob was going on and on about how hot this guy was so I had to see for myself. His name is Kaysar Ridha and he is drop dead gorgeous! He is a contestant on Big Brother 6 (USA). Check out this page for more of this man hunk!

So a couple of people were asking about Byte...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Out of curiosity I asked my mom to pick this up for me on her recent excursion to Mexico...I can't get enough of it! They are a dance duo from Mexico City and their first album is a collection of covers of rock en español songs from the 80s. They've covered Caifanes, Soda Stereo, Enanitos Verdes, Duncan Dhu, Nacha Pop, etc.. In my former life I was a hardcore rockero and a rock en español snob. But I have to say I really like the way they did them. I think my favorite has to be their cover of Lucha de gigantes or Nada personal. While my Milwaukee Sister can't get enough of the new Belanova (I like it too)...I am just digging Byte more right now. Their next album will be all original material. So if you want some fun upbeat music, check it out.

Well I should get going. I actually got here early today (my coworkers were going to a titty bar last night so I was advised to take a cab)...so I figured I would blog! Have a good one everybody!!!!

Better

While I am still disheartened about having to stay 3 extra weeks, I am feeling a bit chipper today. Probably because I get to go home! With that being said, I thought I'd actually do a proper entry today. First things first...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I got world from Radio Arte that the show is finally confirmed for Fangoria on Saturday, October 15! They are playing at the Metro and the opening act will be Sara Valenzuela (no relation to me); some of you may know her as the former lead singer of La Dosis. Her solo album has just been released in the US so I will be checking it out before the show as La Dosis were one of my fave acts. Anyhoo tickets are $41 (I know pricey) but trust me Fangoria are soooooo worth it. It's very rare they do a US date. I can't wait to see them again!!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

So the other day at the airpot I decided to buy a book so I can read it on the plane. Magazines don't do because I usually read those w/in 5 minutes of purchasing them. I picked up the trashiest one I could find (sans the romance novels). It's from Candace Bushnell (Sex & The City, etc.) and is entitled Trading Up. So far so good. Anyone have any other good recommendations??

Remember him?
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Did I have a crush on him! The him in question is Steve Guttenberg. The other morning when I was getting ready for work there was some awful Olsen Twin movie on and he played their dad. Yummy! Apparently he has a blog. Not sure if it's real or a phony one. I read a bit and all he seems to do is complain about not getting any shows on the PAX network. Eeew would anyone really want to be on PAX?

Since the corporate condos have cable I've been getting my fill while here. Again in the morning on tbs they are showing this:

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

While not as zaney as it's predecesor, it's still just as addictive. Come on they were in college and A.C. Slater was still on the wrestling team! This morning's episode alone had Mario López in a wrestling outfit at least 3 scenes!

This weekend is our anniversary weekend. Two years of bliss, love, and utter happiness. Don't think we're perfect now. Sure we get on one another's nerves from time to time, but it's so worth it whenever I look into Rob's eyes. Sigh. Have a good one everyone!

Waiting for Harry

I've been meaning to do a proper post all week, but training sorta prevented me from doing so. Until now. Home sweet home. It took awhile to get here though. Let me tell you. We were scheduled to fly out Friday @ 5pm Detroit time. Before we even left for the airport we get a call from the woman who does all out travel arrangements. Turns out the 5 o'clock flight was cancelled. Why? We have no idea. So after a quick stop to Starbucks we headed on out to the airport to beat traffic. Rumour had it we were on the 7pm flight. Turns out that one was oversold and only 1 of my coworkers got on it. The other 2 were flying into Midway at 7 while the rest of us were put on a 9:34 flight to O'Hare. It was about 4 Michigan time and after getting an OK we just decided to drive back to Chicaog. Holy 5 hours! But it was sooooooooo good to be home. Michigan is so BORING. To think I have to go through it all over again for the next 3 weeks.

Coming home was great as CHUS was so excited to see me. He licked my face for a good 5 minutes and really hasn't left my side all weekend. But I think ROB was even happier to see me:P

I forgot to mention last Saturday I drove up to Milwaukee for a baptism and to see my Mom since she had just gotten back from Mexico. Took advantage of the fact that RICKY was in town visiting his mom as well, so he tagged along w/ us. My Mom rocks as she found all the CDs on my wish list :) We also went ahead and ordered some CDs from Mixup and had them shipped to my Dad. Shipping is free in Mexico if u spend more than 500 pesos. Trust me we did. It was nice.

Guess what I finally got???? After never getting it from amazon I finally won one on ebay. DENISE LOPEZ!!! I finally got my copy of TRUTH IN DISGUISE. I have already listened to it a few times. Loving it!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

So the other day I am checking my email and I get a comment left on my blog and I was completely floored! See one of my favorite bands that is no longer, LUNA LIMÓN pretty much disappeared off the face of the earth. I had always wondered what became of them. So I chose them as a song of the day way back in January in hopes that someone would actually know who they were. I thought maybe, just maybe someone would leave a comment about them. Well to my surprise not only did someone know who they are but get this...the former lead singer signed my blog! Here's what she said:

Well it´s pretty good to know that somebody actually listened to that album...My name is María Urtuzuástegui, I am the singer of the second album of that now disappeared band Luna Limón, and fate brought me to this blog...definetely cuídate is one of my favorite tracks...thanks for listening bomitoni

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Wow! I am floored! She has such an amazing voice and it's a shame they never caught on. As it is EL FUTURO DEL PASADO is one of my favorite albums ever and I pretty much listen to it on a regular basis, but after María signed my guest book I find myself listening to it even more! If you can track it down it's a great album and like I said she has an awesome voice. Some of you may remember her when she was a back-up singer for Aleks Syntek back in the early 90s. See María was actually the 2nd vocalist for Luna Limón, and imo much better than the first Norma. Don't get me wrong I like her too, but María is...WOW! If you ever read this again María, I would love to hear from you! Drop me a line @ bomitoni@gmail.com

Wow I am still so geeked :) Sorry to bore you all but it really meant a lot to me. Made my day while in boring ol' Michicagn.

For the next 3 weeks I will be staying in a corporate condo. Oooh. Fancy. So I am bringing along my weeks worth of episodes of REBELDE so I have something to do :) Hope everyone is well. Don't miss me too much! 3 more weeks to go. Let's hope it goes by fast.

Day 2

It is only day 2 and I am already bored out of my mind! 3 more weeks to go! Ahhh!!! Though I admit my coworkers are a blast! We've been keeping one another entertained reenacting awful commercials (Eagle Man Insurance anyone?), and taking full advantage of the hotel's happy hour (3 free drinks). Woo hoo! Other than that I'm bored. I'm homesick and did I mention bored? I'm really looking forward to coming home Friday even if it is for a few days only. We shall see. I'm hoping to at least get together and have drinks w/ Trent who lives about 20 mintues from Troy. Hope you're all well and I'll check in later!

Troy

Peeps...I am in Troy, MI as I type. I am on break from day 1. We just ate Thai food. So far all is well. I miss Rob & Chus like crazy, but I am just hoping this week flies by. As well as the following 3. Not much to report. Troy is rather small, very suburbish and HOT! Can't stand it. At least it's not 100º like it was yesterday in Chicago. Talk to you all later!

Sudor

Today was the second day this week that the air was not working on the train! WTF! Can't the CTA get their shit together? I also heard it's supposed to be 100º Sunday! My poor dog! Poor me!

Before I start my usual ramblings, I have some news to share. No I didn't get a new job. Well sort of. Those of you who read my blog know I've been bitching and moaning about how unhappy I am at work. A few days ago I was asked to move onto a new account. So techincally it will be like a new job, as it's a new account, new floor, etc. BUT...I have to go to Troy, MI for a month for training and to work on-site! Ahhhhhhh!! Sucks!! Unfortunately it is only a lateral promotion, but still at least I won't have to work on this anymore. Sucky I know. I don't know how I am gonna get through that long w/out ROB and CHUS. The only good thing is that we are being flown in every weekend. But my boo boo works weekends! Ahhh!!! At least Chus and I can rebond. I leave this Sunday and return next Friday to Chicago. So it will pretty much be like this until the end of August. Starting Aug. 22 we'll all be back in the office. I am excited about this new opportunity but am quite sad about having to be seperated from my partner. The worst part is I will be in Troy on our 2nd anniversary :(

Sorry for not being my usual self. I'm just really bummed out. To cheer me and you all up here are some pics of ALEJANDRO FERNÁNDEZ that are in the newest issue of TV Y NOTAS. Get me to a newstand!!!!!

Ya me mojé. This man is so f'n hot!!!! I wish he wouldn't shave his chest though, chest hair is sooooo sexy. Grrr.

BTW for those of you in Chicago what's up w/ VIVA switching formats to an all RE-GAY-TON format! WTF?? VIVA was the only Spanish pop/rock station left (the other 2 died out early on). Now they are called LA KALLE. Ghetto. As it is VIVA was starting to play 3 reggaeton songs to every 1 pop song. So I guess it was coming. But still. I know it's just a fad and hopefully it will just fade out. As it is Chicago radio sucks. I guess that's what my ipod is for.

BTW I finished RUBÍ. I know some people were bitching about the finale, but I loved it! I can't go into detail because ROB is still watching it. But I was quite pleased. What a great trashy soap! Speaking of soaps, I better start programming the VCR to tape REBELDE while I am in MI.

So as a result of my having to go to MI, not sure how much I'll be writing here or if it will be limited to the weekends, etc. All I know is that we are staying @ The Embassy Suites. I'll check into internet availability, etc. I have some stuff to work on so I must go. Take care everyone!

Crush on you

Who was your first crush? My first crush ever was:

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

LYNDA CARTER! GASP! A girl! I was obsessed w/ Wonder Woman as a kid. But then there was my first gay crush:

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

JORDAN KNIGHT!!! OMG I was soooooo in love with him. Even though back then I thought he was cool and I wanted to be like him. But for some odd reason I had scrapbooks full of his pics! LOL. I think my fave was of him working out, shirtless might I add, in SuperTeen! I did see him when he had his brief comeback in '99 @ a radio station event. OMG he was so hot! I was screaming like a 12 year old! I like him now too as he's gotten beefier. Grrr.

Speaking of crushes I have to admit that I have developed a blog crush on EL HUEVO. I don't know what it is about him but I just think he's so darn sexy! He's not even really cute or anything, but there's something about him. I think it's cause he's just so straight. Us gay boys have a thing for straight boys. Don't we? I just love his sense of humor and his writing is excellent. Plus you have to find out why he won the Mr Kinky award. Excuse me while I have a moment.

BTW do any of you know of any good blog template websites? I know as a graphic designer I should really have a kick ass blog, but web design was never my strong point. Anyone willing to help me out even? Leave me a comment please.

Japanese Noodles

I so didn't mean to not write for over a week! Work was so busy and I was constantly having to go to meetings, and reviews, blah blah. So I had no time to actually write! Which is something that believe it or not keeps me sane at work.

Unfortunately work has occupied most of my time so not much has happened. Though I did get my DVD copy of TEEN WITCH. I had to end up buying it at BEST BUY because TOWER did not get any!?! It was a blast. TWIN BLOGGER, we have to reschedule our viewing party :)

Friday night I went out w/ my friend from work EMILY and we had a blast! We finally found some mojitos at Café Bolero on Western Ave. Holy strong! They were great!

The entire weekend I tried to stay in because I HATE SUMMER! I hate it 'cause it's hot, sticky, humid, gross, sweaty, people are outside, sweltering, eeeeew!!!! I guess my hatred for summer was further fueled this morning because their was no air again. WTF? It was packed and by the time I got to work I was drenched in sweat. Eeew!

Anyhoo, Saturday night we ended up going to Club 94 in Kenowhere, WI w/ my MILWAUKEE SISTER to meet up w/ an old Milwaukee fag-hag, JUICY LUCY. I don't think I had seen her since I moved to Chicago! 6 years! She was still same old crazy Lucy, it was fun. Eddie's friend is the DJ there and he played Just Wanna Dance by LA TOYA JACKSON! It was a hoot! Needless to say the people in Kenosha are still homely if you will. LOL!

So Sunday I basically spent the majority of the afternoon running around doing some errands. ROB suggested I make a Thai dish for dinner. I hadn't made it ages, and was totally up for it! Well...I went to Cub Foods and pretty much found all the ingredients...almost. Cub Foods does not have an Asian Food Section. WTF!? So I went to Dominick's. They did. But they did not carry JAPANESE NOODLES! Nor did the 2 other stores I went to! What are there not Asian people on the north side?? When I lived in Shitport I never had problems finding my Japanese noodles! Where can a boy get some Japanese noodles in the Logan Square area??

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I was bored the other day and took this screenshot of my desktop at work! LOL! So I am almost done w/ the Rubi DVD. I am on the third DVD side 1. OMG it's so good!

I was gonna write some more but I have to go to a meeting. Hope you are all well.

JOEY WAS HERE.

Rubi

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been *gasp* busy at work! Last friday my twin blogger and I had lunch! It was a blast as always. We had a lovely time and a laugh attack to boot! I think my stomach still hurts from laughing so hard. Poor kid!

Rob and I went out for dinner after work. It was nice. We went to Thai Lagoon in Bucktown. Yummy food, and they have sushi on weekends. After dinner we went out for drinks w/ my Milwaukee Sister and his friend from out of town. It was nice to be out but I must admit I was rather somber, since I had just found out earlier that my friend at work had lost her twins. She was 5 months along. So sad.

Needless to say the rest of the weekend was rather mellow. I had a pleasant surprise from Rob. He bought the DVD set of Rubi for us! OMG I am sooooo addicted!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

It's so good. His only reason for buying it is because it's a remake of Teresa starring our obsession Salma Hayek. God knows when and if they are ever going to release that on DVD. So in the meantime this will do. It's bascially a condensed version which is good because u have NO commercials, and u only have to watch the opening credits once. But the best part...Eduardo Santamarina!!! Grrr...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

So you all know what tomorrow is right??? It's the DVD release of Teen Witch!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Awwww yeah!!! I can't wait. Hey twin blogger maybe we should have a viewing this weekend? Hmmm....anyhoo to celebrate my excitement here is one of the many fine muscial numbers from this forgotten teen classic. It's my fave, and what a hoot! 'Cause I'm hot! And you're not...so take that!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I've been to tell you all this since last week but I haven't had a chance, Fangoria are going to perform in Chicago on October 15 at the Metro!!!! I am sooooooooooooooooooo excited!!!! The last time they were here was about 3 years ago at the Empty Bottle. Not sure when tickets go on sale or anything, but this was confirmed by their management after a posting on a fangoria message board. I'm assuming Radio Arte is bringing them again. I'll be there w/ bells on in the front row! For those of you in Chicago you should really try and see them. They are awesome! You'll all find out why Alaska is my diva :) Ta ta for now!

Cotex

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Yay! Sasha won Big Brother VIP!!!! Yay!! I hope this means there will be newfound interest in her and they will finally release some of her older material on CD :)

The holiday weekend was pretty unproductive. But in a goodway. File under ghetto...Friday as I was coming back from PetSmart, I noticed that someone had thrown away a coffee table. We don't have a coffee table I thought. So I waited til around 10pm and though, what the heck. I walked over to the alley, and lugged my new coffee table home. It's not really what I was looking for, but it was free and it was really good quality! So my upcoming arts & craft project is to fix it up. Make it a little more "Joe". I just won these stained glass mosaic tiles on ebay. I am going to paint the top of the table blue, and cover it w/ tiles! Coolios.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Just because. Another picture of hottie Bobby The Package Pulido. Grrr...let me have a moment to myself. BTW...Sista M, this is the pic I was telling u about! Beefaroni indeed!

So on Sunday Jorge & Raymond invited me to a little gathering at Raymond's nephew's place. I happily obliged because a) I was broke and b) our fridge is out (we are using the one in the basement in the meantime). Anyhoo it was nice. So as the evening progressed Raymond continued to share more drunken Joe stories from last Sunday. LOL! So he's like do u remember getting into an argument outside of Circuit w/ some guy? I was like no. Here goes....

So some guy gets kicked out of Circuit, completely wasted. You turn to him and say 'Bitch you need to go home'. He than turns to you and says 'No fuck you bitch, you need to go home!'. In turn you turn around and say to him 'Bitch go change your Cotex!'

LOL! LOL! LOL! Holy shit I could not stop laughing!!! I was so lucky I didn't get my ass kicked. LOL! Figured you'd all enjoy that.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

So since we are on the topic of Cotex...it's been awhile since I've shared a song w/ you all. That infamous line that I kept spewing at everyone at pride comes to us via none other than the ladies of BWP aka Bytches With Problems. If you know me, I love me some raunchy dirty girl rappers! My Milwaukee Sister shared w/ me another one of his Box childhood gems! I've adopted this song as well. Let me forewarn you that it's rather graphic, raunchy, what have you. But it's crap like this that I find absolutely hilarious!!! Enjoy...Cotex by BWP. BTW..it's Cotex not Kotex. This is da ghetto!

Sex Box

The moment you have all been waiting for...my Milwaukee Sister has finally posted to his blog! Oh no! Everyone check out the fierceness for yourself! I'm sure it will be a hoot! If you've ever wondered why I am such a freak, it's probably due to the fact that I associate w/ people like him...haha! Seriously folks, Sista M is the fiercest bitch I know! Introducing: Chicago Sexbox! Bookmark him now! BTW I almost forgot to mention that Meiver has a special post about me today! LOL! It's a lovely recap of my drunk dial to her :) Love ya babe! And when are you coming to Chicago?

So my Mom is going to Durango for 2 weeks tomorrow. I give her a small wishlist of CDs I want :) The rest I will be ordering from Mixup and have shipped to my Dad. It's so much cheaper. Anyhoo...speaking of Mexico, I am so excited that Sasha has made it to the final of Big Brother VIP. Rumour has it that if Sasha made it all the ex-Timbiriches would go show their support! I wish I could see it! So for those of you in Mexico....

I hope you all have a good weekend. I think we're just gonna stay in and chillax. Thank god we don't like in trashy Bridgeport anymore and have to deal w/ all the ghetto children and their fireworks. Being that I am not patriotic in any way, for those of you who are, enjoy it. I must go and pretend to look busy. Luckily for me my boss is out the rest of the afternoon :) Maybe we can leave early! I have to clean my house as my hermana, Robert is supposed to come over tomorrow. Have fun everyone this weekend and don't forget to read my Milwaukee Sister's blog! Enjoy your Monday off (for those of u in the US).

Triste

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I was so sad yesterday. Wanna know why? Becaue my damn novela wasn't on! They were showing some stupid fútbol game!! Who gives a fuck??? I neeed my teen soap fix! Seriously. I think since I was such a loser in high school, I want to live vicariously through all the fresa characters that televisa spews out. Couldn't you just see me hanging w/ them? I would look hot in one of those lolita-esque prepa uniforms. Hot!

I would have posted earlier...but I was actually busy! WTF! My boss assigned me to work on a small project. Thank god I was about ready to die from boredom.

Can I tell you all about my ride home yesterday? So I get on the train to go home and what do I discover the minute I enter the car? The air conditioning was not working! Holy hot! Another reason why I hate summer. It was the longest ride ever! I even got off a stop early because I could not breathe anymore. Can it be fall yet?

No somos números

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

So we had a blast @ Donna Summer last night! It was so hot though! Ugh! It was free, and she was fierce! Rob was able to save seats for us, fortunately for me I found Eddie & Jorge. It was so much fun. Eddie and Rob were hilarious, fagging out at every song practically! I don't know what there were more of...homos or middle aged black women? There was this one guy w/ a red do-rag that was hilarious! My only complaint was she really didn't do any 80s material other than She Works Hard For The Money. Come on I was so hoping to hear This Time I Know It's For Real. It was a blast!

So since work is still slow, I've been browing other people's profiles and blogs via blogger. So I come across a blog from this girl in Mexico who was talking about her childhood obsession w/ Micro Chips! Holy shit do you remember them?

OMG I used to love them! They were this cheesy "rock" band w/ all kids. I guess you could say their main competition was Onda Vaselina. Anyhoo...I was just floored that there was this website. Go check it out! No somos números...oooh...aaaah. Some of the members even went on to groups such as Fobia, Moderatto, La Lupita, Aroma, etc. BTW you can download all of their albums on the site I found...on the downloads page!

My Rebelde obsession is growing! It's like I can't wait to go home now so I can watch today's episode! I swear sometimes I am a 13 year old girl.

Bored 2.0

Image hosted by Photobucket.comSo today we are going to go see Donna Summer for free at the Taste of Chicago. Should be fun as both Rob and Eddie are such big fans. I've never really gotten into her. I'm hoping this show she'll win me over, because I've been jamming out to her the past few days in preperation for the show. Should be fun! I think it's time I make a Donna Summer mix on my ipod. Hmmm...I think I'll start off w/ her SAW comeback This Time I Know It's For Real. BTW Sista M is back from Puerto Rico and he brought Rob and I Iris Chacón cd's! Yeah! Sorry you had to miss pride. There's always Market Days!

The above photo was taken of me when I was 19 months old when we lived in Torreón, Coahuila México. I love my swanky top! I notice that so many people post baby pics, so I figured...what the heck! Finally have a working scanner at home so I am sure you'll all be seeing more.

So this weekend I visited my mom before she leaves for a 2 week trip to Mexico. We went to Potawatomi. Holy crap is that place crazy! People are so into it. If you ever go, go up to the non-smoking section, it's a much more pleasant experience. I won $60 btw :) So since I took Chus along *who was such a good boy on the way there and back* we met up w/ Garrota and her baby! Here is a pic! They had so much fun together. Even if half the time Bili was trying to rape Chus! Oh no!

So I started watching Rebelde. I don't know what it is about cheesy teen soaps that suck me in? It's pretty awful and the characters have to be the most annoying but I can't stop watching. It's been 2 days and I'm already hooked? Uff! I already told you how annoying Anahí is...but that ugly blonde kid. Giovanni...eeeew! The other day I wanted to slap him. I think what gets me is all the cheesy English-language sayings they like to add...Es que soy un loser. Ha ha ha!

I can't think if there is anything else I needed to write about. Hmmm...oh well, if I get bored again I will write some more. Ciao for now!

Bored

Work is still slow and since I was bored I decided to post my top 5 most annoying celebrities....drum roll please....

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

  1. Renée Zellweger: I can't stand her! She always looks like she's constipated and she's all oily. Eeew! Eeew! She jut gets on my nerves.
  2. Tom Cruise: I know some of you like him out there, but I just don't get the appeal whatsoever. First of all I think he's not attractive, and his movies are beyond dull. Plus he needs to get his head out of his ass.
  3. Jessica Alba: Can there be a more self-hating Mexican? She's such a coconut!
  4. Thalía: Ever since Thalía signed to EMI she's been on my shitlist. I used to love her when she was all campy and trashy in the early 90s. Plus when she covered Alaska's A quién le importa, that just sealed the deal. She's just too full of herself for her own good.
  5. Anahí: My latest addition. I've recently starting watching Rebelde...OMG is she annoying! What happend to her nose? She's just so wrong. Hola Daaaaaaady

Ok enough ranting. Like I said I was bored at work and couldn't think of anything else to write about. I'll post more later.
